Welcome to our Montclair interior design studio!

As a full service New Jersey interior design company, we saw the need to expand our interior design office so that clients can come into the studio for working meetings where we go over all aspects of their project. We wanted to create a warm and inviting space, easily accessible in downtown Montclair, where clients could come even on their lunch break, enjoy a coffee and snack, while we run them through their project one room at a time. Sarah Elizabeth, the owner and principle, will work with each client, overseeing all details of a project, from space planning to material and finish selections.

In our Montclair design studio we are able to pull from our various material libraries to move each project along, whether we are working on a kitchen and bath design, or an entire home design, with a comprehensive fabric, wallpaper and carpeting library, as well as paint color selections. In the studio for each design meeting, we have all floor plans and materials laid out, and can pull additional options as needed, whether tile for a kitchen backsplash, metal finish for a custom piece of furniture we are designing, or wallpaper for a powder room. Meeting our interior design clients at their homes is an integral part of the design process as well - as you must see materials in the space they will go in, as every room has different light as well as other factors that are at play influencing how a color or material will look. That combined with making sure each material related to the home and other design elements within the home, so that everything is purposefully chosen, as well as designed to last. As a project progresses we gauge where best to have each interior design meeting to best move it forward.

At our Montclair NJ interior design studio we also have a growing collection of accessories for sale including new and vintage items hand-picked from trusted vendors, or sourced from vintage and antique dealers from around the globe. Some include blown glass vases, whether one or a trio, hand made ceramic vases, as well as brass candlesticks and even design books. We are also able to offer an interior design consult in our design studio in 2 hour increments. This option is best should a client need just a few materials or want to freshen up a room with say wallpaper and paint selections, or help with a powder room design. We accept smaller a la carte jobs when we have openings in our scheduled and should be booked several weeks in advance and held with a deposit.
